Description

The Blunt 35 U.S. is designed for the cross country/all mountain rider craving a laterally stiff yet weight conscious wheel. At 35mm wide the Blunt 35 gives you one of the fattest footprints available which will float over the rough stuff and give you more bite and greater tread use through the turns. The inner web of the rim allows for a tubeless application requiring a sealing rim tape and sealant for successful set-up.

Wheel build based upon strongest geometrical pattern – not on any historic superstition of more crosses being stronger…that idea came about because higher spoke count wheels simply require more crosses in the pattern and so more crosses became synonymous with strength, when really the driver of strength is spoke count.

Velotape Tubeless:
Velocity is proud to announce Velotape, the newest accessory in the Velocity line.
Velotape is specifically designed to convert certain rims and wheelsets tubeless.
The kit includes 10 meters of transparent Velotape, enough to setup two 29ers, and 2 high quality tubeless valves with removable cores.
Installation is easy, requiring only a small punch and sharp scissors.

VeloPlugs – Say goodbye to rim strips
Incredible blowout strength and takes well over 400psi.
Tires start to fail long before the Veloplug.
Tire mounting is easier with the Veloplug.
Rim strips take up a lot of space making tires more difficult to mount.
With the sleek and slippery Veloplug, mounting tires becomes easy.
Spoke replacement is simplified as there is no need to remove a sticky strip.
Just pop out the Veloplug over the offending spoke and pop it back in when repairs are complete.
They can be used over and over.
