The Bike Box II is the newest version successor of the 2018 German Design Award winning Bike Box.
The Bike Box II not only displays an award-winning design but it gives you extensive functionality that perfectly secures and protects racing bikes and smaller mountain bikes – with frames up to 62 cm.
Bike cases may be checked as regular luggage. However, we strongly recommend that travelers check their bikes through TSA/Oversize luggage as this will allow the TSA to zip tie the case so it will not be inspected in the baggage line.ย
The fully separable shell makes it easy to pack the bike and the ABS material makes it extremely rugged. A self-tightening strap system dependably holds the case together. With wheel bags, frame suspension, and foam pads for even more security
The bike box II comes with everything you need to securely transport every part of your bike. Wheels are securely packed in two medium wheel bags and the built-in frame suspension keeps the frame stable. Three foam pads offer additional frame protection and a foam block dependably covers the chainring. A foam spacer for the handlebars, a chain guard, foam tubes for sensitive parts, and spacers for dropouts and front fork ends are also included.
Easy packing with fully removable lid
One special feature of the bike box II is the fully removable lid. This allows bike frames up to 62 cm to be easily and precisely placed in the case and secured with the included straps. Multiple foam pads cushion the bike while providing additional protection. When closing up the case, the two halves interlock at six points and are effectively sealed with a self-tightening strap system.
Highly maneuverable with four smooth-running casters
The bike box II comes with four smooth-running casters that make the case easy to transport. Two rigid and two swivel casters make the case highly mobile and easy to maneuver. Two ergonomic pull handles provide comfortable transport. The bike box II also comes with two carry handles for easily carrying the case over uneven ground.
