The Mission Piggyback MK2 Folding Teen-to-Adult Special Needs Bike Trailer is designed to give riders with balance challenges the opportunity to enjoy cycling with a partner. This innovative trailer bike attaches securely to the rear of an adult bicycle, allowing the rider to pedal independently or simply relax during the ride.
Unlike traditional trailer bikes that use a single wheel, the Piggyback MK2 features two 24-inch wheels, providing improved stability and eliminating side-to-side movement while riding. This design helps create a smoother and more confident cycling experience for riders who require additional support.
The trailer uses sealed bearing hubs and rear axle drive components, ensuring quiet operation and smooth pedaling. Center-ridge tires help improve comfort and stability on paved paths and recreational cycling routes.
With an adjustable handlebar height, the Piggyback MK2 can accommodate riders with an inside leg measurement of 26″ to 33″, making it suitable for teenagers and smaller adults.
The folding tow arm allows the trailer to be stored more easily when not in use, making it practical for families, caregivers, and adaptive cycling programs.
Optional adaptive accessories such as lumbar support with harness systems, backrests with side supports, and specialty pedals can be added to help customize the bike trailer for different mobility needs.

1. The Trilogy saddle is identical to the wider “Saddle with Back Support” – BUT without the Back Support.
2. New Optional Mission Lumbar Support:
This all in one specially molded backrest with with padded side cushions and back cushion.
It also incorporates a fully adjustable four point harness for safety.
Customarily built to fit to our Trikes and Trailer Bikes, it offers the rider more stability when needed.
Simple and effectively designed to be attached to a pole and bracket and fitted to a seat post.
3. Optional Back Rest with Side Supports:
The backrest comes complete with an adjustable back support, adjustable side support arms and strap. It is attached to the cycle by a clamp that is attached to the seat post.
OPTIONAL PEDALS:
1. Platform pedal with Velcro straps This is a lightweight platform pedal with Velcro straps to keep feet firmly in place. Not as Cumbersome as some other foot supports.
2. Child’s foot sandal with Velcro straps
Child’s foot sandal with Velcro straps.
Designed to keep a child’s foot firmly in place when the have a tendency to pull there feet of a traditional pedal.
3. Self Leveling Pedals
Allows for easier foot placement and retention
Requires some assembly preferably by a trained cycle mechanic.
